Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has refused to be drawn into the debate over Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli, a player he once dubbed "unmanageable" during his time in charge of Italian giants Inter.

Balotelli is under pressure at Liverpool, having failed to score in the Premier League since his arrival in the summer and also being criticised for disinterested performances.

He swapped his shirt with a Real Madrid player at half-time in midweek, with Liverpool losing the Champions League game 3-0, in a move which infuriated a number of fans.

And yesterday it was alleged that Balotelli used threatening language to a woman and her daughter in Manchester, after the daughter took photos of his parked car.

Today, at a press conference, Mourinho was asked for his view on the player he once dubbed "unmanageable".

But he would not add to the debate, simply replying: "Don't ask me about Mario."

Balotelli worked with Mourinho at Inter and was present when the Nerazzurri won the Champions League in 2010.
