Inter Milan defender Marco Andreolli believes his side can do well both domestically and in Europe, following their 0-0 draw with Saint-Etienne last night.

The Nerazzurri, who are currently ninth in Serie A with nine points from seven outings, 10 behind leaders Juventus, put in a lacklustre performance against the French club at the San Siro.

However, the draw was enough for Inter Milan to consolidate their place at the top of Group F with seven points from three games.

And Andreolli, who admitted his side were not at their best against Saint-Etienne, wants Inter Milan to approach every game as a final to taste success in Italy as well as in Europe.

"We wanted to win, but the point we earned is important”, he told the club’s official site.

“They defended a lot. Games like that are always complicated and we lacked a bit of clarity when it came to finishing.

“We know we can do well both Italy and in Europe. We need to approach every match as if it were a final. Only by doing that can we make progress."

Inter Milan will next face Cesena, who are six places and three points adrift of Walter Mazzarri’s side in Serie A, at the Stadio Dino Manuzzi on Sunday.
