Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has reiterated that his side are still a “work in progress”, ahead of their Premier League fixture against Hull City tomorrow.

The Reds, who lost 3-0 to Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday, have endured a sloppy start to the 2014/15 campaign.

The Merseyside giants have already lost three fixtures games in the Premier League this term and presently find themselves fifth in the standings with 13 points from eight games, nine behind leaders Chelsea.

Liverpool have not been in good form in Europe as well, with the Anfield club tasting defeat in two of the three Champions League games they have played thus far.

However Rodgers, who admitted his side are not a finished product yet, explained that despite all the “perceptions and criticisms”, Liverpool have not done too badly this season.
