Former Manchester United manager David Moyes is being lined up for a return to the game with Italian giants Inter.

Moyes was sacked by Manchester United in April following a lacklustre season at Old Trafford which saw the Red Devils finish seventh in the Premier League.

He has declared himself ready to return to management and Inter are set to answer the call, according to Sky Italia.

The Nerazzurri have grown disillusioned with current boss Walter Mazzarri and are eyeing making a change.

Inter sit eleventh in Serie A, having collected just nine points from seven games so far.

They are in action later today away at Cesena and defeat could see the curtain drawn on Mazzarri's reign.

Were Moyes to take over at the San Siro he would be reunited with former Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic.
