Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has insisted that he doesn’t feel sorry about Borussia Dortmund’s current plight.

Dortmund won back-to-back German league titles in 2011 and 2012 and also competed with Bayern Munich in the Champions League final in 2013.

After finishing runners-up for the league title last season, Dortmund have struggled to find any form in the current campaign.

They have won only twice in the league and are currently 15th in the league table, a long way away from challenging Bayern Munich at the top.

But Neuer has revealed that he is not at all sorry for the struggling German giants and said that Bayern Munich are only concerned about their performances.

The goalkeeper also added that Dortmund’s current plight doesn’t mean the Bavarians will find it easy to handle them when they meet next week.

“I do not feel sorry for Dortmund”, the German number one told Bundesliga.com.

“We only think of our performances.

“We know against them we will not find it easy and it is wrong to suggest the Borussia Dortmund will be easier to deal with just because they are struggling at the moment.”

The Bavarians will take on Dortmund at the Allianz Arena on 1st November.
