Arsenal midfielder Mikel Arteta believes that team-mate Alexis Sanchez is one of the best and most committed players he has ever seen.

The Chilean international has helped to contribute to the Gunners' attacking strength this season, having managed to score eight goals in 15 matches so far, including a brace in Arsenal's 2-0 win at Sunderland at the weekend.

What impresses Arteta even more is the fact that the former Barcelona man is fully committed to what he does and continually trains to improve himself.

"Alexis is one of the best", Arteta, the Arsenal captain, told his club's official site.

"His desire and his commitment, in addition to the way he wants to train and improve himself, is spot on.

"He’s very committed. Even in recovery sessions he wants to go outside and train to keep improving."

The Spaniard also took time to talk about the language differences between the rest of his team-mates and Sanchez, who joined from Barcelona, adding that the lack of understanding doesn't make a difference for the Chilean as he is always wanting to play football.

"It’s a different culture and language for him so he doesn’t necessarily understand what we are saying at some times.

"But he wants to play football and I think he feels comfortable as well."

The Gunners are currently placed fifth in the Premier League table with 14 points from nine matches and host Burnley next on 1st November.
