Juventus are continuing talks with defender Stephan Lichtsteiner in a bid to convince the Switzerland international to pen a new contract, however both Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are monitoring the situation.

Lichtsteiner is out of contract at the end of this season and both player and club are currently far apart in their respective expectations for a new deal.

The defender wants €3m per season from the Bianconeri, but Juventus have so far only offered €2m plus bonuses.

According to Italian daily Tuttosport, talks are continuing, but Lichtsteiner has suitors.

Arsene Wenger's Arsenal are watching proceedings closely, while French champions PSG are also keen.

Both spy a potential free transfer bargain in the 30-year-old defender.

Lichtsteiner can operate at right-back or further along the right flank if required.

He joined Juventus in 2011 from Lazio.
