Arsenal have been linked with repeating their January raid on Spartak Moscow from last year, but this time it is midfielder Romulo in their sights.

The Gunners used their positive relationship with the Russian club in January this year to take Kim Kallstrom to the Emirates Stadium on loan for the second half of last season.

As January 2015 approaches, boss Arsene Wenger is again on the lookout to bolster his midfield options.

According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, it is 24-year-old Romulo who is firmly in Wenger's sights.
