West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has confirmed that Diafra Sakho is doubtful for his side’s upcoming Premier League fixture against Stoke City on Saturday.

The striker scored in the Hammers’ 2-1 win over Manchester City at the weekend, but was forced off in the 89th minute, being replaced by Kevin Nolan.

And Allardyce, who explained that Sakho has still not fully recovered from the injury, revealed that the decision on whether to include him in the West Ham squad for their trip to the Britannia Stadium will be taken after assessing the 24-year-old’s condition tomorrow.

“Sakho is touch and go for Saturday”, the manager said at a press conference.

“We will see what he's like tomorrow and make a decision from there.”
