Manchester United legend Eric Cantona feels current Marseille coach Marcelo Bielsa has something of the Jose Mourinho about him – and that finds favour with the former forward.

Cantona turned out for Marseille between 1988 and 1991, although spent a portion of that time on loan at Bordeaux and Montpellier.

Nevertheless, the 48-year-old still keeps a close eye on Marseille's fortunes and has noted Bielsa's impact, with the south coast club sitting top of Ligue 1.

Cantona told France 2: "I do not support Marseille much, but I like Bielsa. I think he has charisma, he is a character.
