Inter Milan are prepared to turn to their former manager Roberto Mancini if Walter Mazzarri continues to stumble further this season.

Though Inter won last night against Sampdoria, Mazzarri is under pressure to save his job and was even jeered by the fans at the San Siro.

The 53-year-old was supposed to bring back Champions League football to Inter at the end of this season, but the club are currently eighth in the league table on 15 points.

To make matters worse, their bitter rivals AC Milan are currently occupying the last Champions League spot and patience is running thin in the Inter hierarchy.

The Nerazzurri are ready to part with Mazzarri if Inter continue to remain inconsistent this season and are keen to reunite with a former manager.

Mancini has been out of club management since he left Galatasaray this summer and Inter are keen to bring him back to the San Siro, according to Sport Mediaset.

The former Manchester City manager is also believed to be keen on returning to his old stomping ground.
