West Ham United striker Carlton Cole has explained that he is convinced that his side can claim a positive result in their upcoming Premier League game against Stoke City on Saturday.

The Hammers, who defeated champions Manchester City 2-1 at the weekend, are currently fourth in the standings with 16 points from nine fixtures.

Sam Allardyce’s side have now won their last three league outings, with the run including 2-0 and 3-1 triumphs over Queens Park Rangers and Burnley respectively.

And Cole, who admitted that Stoke are a tough team, is however confident about his side coming out with a positive result from the Britannia Stadium.

"It's going to be a stern test for us”, the forward told his club’s official site.
