Celtic forward Anthony Stokes is delighted after the Bhoys were paired with arch-rivals Rangers in the semi-final of the Scottish League Cup.

All eyes had been on the draw after both Celtic and Rangers won their respective quarter-final games in midweek.

And destiny drew the Old Firm together, providing the tie that Celtic wanted, Stokes insists.

"It's interesting and I think it's what we wanted", Stokes told a press conference.
