Arsenal starlet Joel Campbell has rubbished speculation that he could quit the Emirates Stadium in January in search of more playing time.

Campbell, who spent last term on loan at Olympiacos in Greece and then further enhanced his reputation with Costa Rica at the World Cup, was promised first team chances by Gunners boss Arsene Wenger this term.

But the 22-year-old has clocked up just 39 minutes of Premier League action so far and there has been talk he could move in the new year, AC Milan confirmed suitors.

But, speaking to Greek outlet Gazzetta.gr, Campbell denied he is looking to leave the Emirates Stadium.

Asked about leaving, the forward said: "No, I am an Arsenal player.

"These are only rumours."

Nevertheless, Campbell will be hoping his fortunes at the Emirates Stadium change before the transfer window swings back open in less than two months' time.
