Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has insisted that he does not fear being sacked despite his side’s poor form in the present campaign.

The Villains, who are currently 16th in the Premier League table with 10 points from as many games, have lost their last six league fixtures.

However, Lambert explained that he still does not fear the sack as he believes he can turn things around at Villa Park.

Lambert further added that he wants to emulate Sam Allardyce’s success at West Ham, Villa’s upcoming opponents in the Premier League.

The Hammers, who were struggling at the end of the last season, have been in fine form this term and presently find themselves fifth in the Premier League with 17 points.
