Former Chelsea man Ashley Cole is still seething about Roma’s Serie A loss to Juventus last month.

The Italian champions won a tight game against Roma 3-2 at the Juventus Stadium on 5th October.

In a tense match each side had a player sent off and the referee was accused of giving some questionable decisions in Juventus’ favour.

The Italian referee Gianluca Rocchi gave the Bianconeri a penalty after initially signalling for a free-kick when Maicon handled Andrea Pirlo's free-kick on the edge of the area.

Following the match Roma captain Francesco Totti remarked that Juventus should have their own league and it seems the tensions are yet to die down.

“Roma have quality players in their ranks and we can win the Scudetto”, Cole was quoted as saying by Calcio Mercato.

“But we meet people who give penalties to our opponents for fouls outside the box.”

Roma will welcome Juventus to the Stadio Olimpico in March next year.
