Sunderland winger Emanuele Giaccherini is not interested in leaving the Stadium of Light, despite being strongly linked with a return to his Italian homeland with Napoli.

Following a cruciate knee ligament injury to Lorenzo Insigne, Napoli are looking to sign a replacement in the January transfer window and Giaccherini's name has been floated.

But the former Juventus winger is not interested in calling time on his spell in the Premier League, which he finds "beautiful".

"The Premier League is the most beautiful in the world and today there are not the conditions to return to play in Italy", Giaccherini told Radio Deejay.
