West Ham United striker Carlton Cole has explained that his side are confident about claiming a positive result in their upcoming Premier League clash against Everton on Saturday.

The Hammers, who managed a draw and two loses in their last three visits to Goodison Park, are currently fourth in the Premier League standings with 18 points from 11 games, four points and six places ahead of the Toffees.

And Cole insisted that West Ham are certain about bucking the trend this time by coming out with the full three points from Merseyside.

"Our next game is Everton away which is always a tough game”, he told his club’s official site.

“We've got the personnel and good strength in depth to make a difference.

“We're confident at the moment and I think we can go there and get a result."

Cole further added that he feels the international break has come at the right time for West Ham as it will allow his side to attain full fitness ahead of a busy schedule.

"We've picked up a few injuries so that gives them time to get back to fitness”, he continued.

“We've got a few players out on international duty so with any luck they'll come back and we'll be ready for next weekend."
