Former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson has been confirmed as the new coach of Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG.

Eriksson had been with another Chinese team in the form of Guangzhou R&F, who he led to a third place finish in the Chinese Super League this term.

As a result Guangzhou R&F qualified for next year's Asian Champions League.

But Eriksson's future will be elsewhere, with the 66-year-old now having moved to Shanghai SIPG, where he will be able to call upon former Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Ian Walker.
