It has been claimed that AC Milan and Arsenal target Sami Khedira has agreed a pre-contract deal with Bayern Munich.

The German international, whose contract with Los Blancos is set to expire next summer, has agreed to join the Bavarians next season, according to Spanish radio show El Larguero.

Khedira was a regular starter for Real Madrid under Jose Mourinho, but has found game time limited since Carlo Ancelotti took charge of the club last season.

The 27-year-old, who missed a large chunk of the 2013/14 campaign with a cruciate ligament injury, has fallen down the pecking order at the Santiago Bernabeu, with the likes of Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, James Rodriguez and Isco preferred over him by Ancelotti.

Although Modric is currently sidelined with a long-term injury, it is believed that Real Madrid will still not offer Khedira a new deal.

The former Stuttgart player has thus far amassed 150 appearances for the Spanish giants since joining the club in 2010.

If Khedira has indeed signed a pre-contract deal with Bayern Munich, it will be a huge blow to AC Milan and Arsenal, who were keen to rope in the midfielder on a free transfer next summer.
