Former Danish international Brian Laudrup feels Christian Eriksen is still trying to adapt to Mauricio Pochettino’s style of play at Tottenham Hotspur.

Eriksen arrived at Tottenham last summer when Andre Villas-Boas was the manager. The Portuguese was sacked mid-season and Tim Sherwood served as the caretaker manager until the end of last term.

This summer Pochettino arrived at Spurs from Southampton and under another new manager, the Dane has failed to find a consistent run of form.

Eriksen’s lean patch has also mirrored Tottenham’s performances this season and the club are lying 12th in the league table on 14 points.

Though the Dane has struggled, Laudrup believes it is just taking some time for him to settle down and adapt to Pochettino’s style of football at White Hart Lane this term.
