Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is looking forward to facing off against Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger for just the second time in his career this Saturday.

Despite Van Gaal and Wenger having clocked up many years experience in the dugout, the duo have only faced each other once, when the Manchester United boss was at Barcelona.

Van Gaal has much admiration for the way Wenger likes his teams to play and for that reason is relishing the challenge which awaits at the Emirates Stadium.

"It's the first time I've sat on the bench against Arsenal as Manchester United coach", the Dutchman told a press conference.

"I've only played once against Arsenal with Barcelona. Wenger was on the bench and was already eight years with Arsenal.

"I admire the way they play because it's attacking and you play for the fans. I think that's nice.

"About the rivalry, it's normal in sport."

Manchester United head into the match on the back of a win over Crystal Palace, while Arsenal are looking to bounce back from defeat to Swansea.
