Liverpool are keen to bring Divock Origi to Anfield in January, but will not force the issue with French club Lille if they are unwilling to play ball.

Origi signed for Liverpool from Lille in the summer, however as part of the deal he was loaned back to the Ligue 1 outfit for the season, with a summer 2015 arrival date set.

With Liverpool's strike force misfiring though and Daniel Sturridge being plagued by injury, Reds boss Brendan Rodgers wants Origi in January.

However, according to the Press Association, Liverpool will not push the issue with Lille if they do not want to agree to terminate Origi's loan.
