Portugal manager Fernando Santos is pleased that winger Nani is playing regular football at Sporting Lisbon.

After a poor season at Manchester United, Nani was shipped out on loan to Sporting Lisbon this summer.

In Portugal, the winger’s career has seen a new lease of life and the 27-year-old has been in terrific form for Sporting Libson this season.

And Santos is pleased that Nani is finally playing regular football, which is also benefiting the national team.

"It was very important for us that Nani was playing in Portugal and playing regularly”, Santos said in a press conference.
