Liverpool full-back Glen Johnson admits that back-to-back losses are always tough to take, but he believes that the Reds have enough quality to turn their season around.

Liverpool are on a run of three back-to-back defeats, two in the league and one in the Champions League, and have collected just one point from their last three league fixtures.

This terrible run of form has resulted in the Reds languishing in eleventh in the league table on 14 points.

Johnson admits that a run of three losses has affected the atmosphere around the club and said that the team’s morale is not at its peak.

"The good thing about football is that usually you have an opportunity to put things right a few days later”, the full-back told the club’s official site.

But the defender stressed that the squad are working hard on the training pitch to put things right and believes that the Reds have enough quality to turn their fortunes around this season.

"The key now is to try to keep doing what we do every day – stay together, work hard and not try to do anything that we don't usually do.

"There are some top players here and top guys as well. The squad is close, there is a good bunch of lads, and everyone is certainly fighting to try to get some more points on the board."
