Leeds United boss Neil Redfearn feels that the Whites have identified "some good targets" as they look to bolster their squad in the coming months.

Redfearn believes he needs to bring in a number of bodies, with the focus on adding experience to a very young Leeds squad.

The head coach is now working closely with Leeds' owner Massimo Cellino and sporting director Nicola Salerno, as the January transfer window looms large.

And he is excited by the players under discussion, while appreciating that a number of fringe players currently at Elland Road will need to move on.

"I think it's both [about players coming and players going]. The conversations I’ve had with Massimo [Cellino] and Nicola [Salerno] have been good", he told LUTV.

"We've got some good ideas.

"There's some good targets out there that we're aware of. But obviously there's an important element there in that we've got a really big squad.

"Perhaps some players are going to have to go out and get some games on loan, some players are going to have to move on, just for the benefit of them and the squad", Redfearn concluded.

Leeds are next in action this weekend against Blackburn Rovers as they look to build on their win over Blackpool before the international break.
