Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho believes his side deserved to beat West Brom by more than their 2-0 scoreline today at Stamford Bridge.

Mourinho watched a fully fit Diego Costa fire Chelsea ahead in the eleventh minute, the Spain international showing no sign of the hamstring issues which have troubled him this term.

Chelsea then went 2-0 up through Eden Hazard in the 25th minute, before West Brom's hopes were effectively ended with the sending off of Claudio Yacob just three minutes later.

Chelsea dominated possession and shots on goal and were good value for the three points.

Mourinho was delighted with the display and left with the impression his team should have won by more than two goals.

"We made the pitch very wide, we created spaces in the central area, and the result should be better than 2-0", he told the BBC.

"We are playing well. We are getting the results that we deserve and I'm pleased that we did.

"Especially after 15 days when I have no players to work with. But it's three important points", Mourinho added.
