Celtic boss Ronny Deila feels there is still much room for improvement from his side despite watching them run out 2-1 winners over Dundee at home today.

The Bhoys opened the scoring on the stroke of half-time through Anthony Stokes and then doubled their lead in the 54th minute after John Guidetti struck.

However, David Clarkson pulled one back for the visitors only four minutes later, giving Celtic some nervy moments.

Deila's side closed the game out, but left their manager demanding a more attacking mentality and stressing improvement will be needed on Thursday in the Europa League against Red Bull Salzburg.

"It was a poor performance, I expected more", he told reporters.

"What I will take from this game was the three points and the second goal was fantastic.

"In the beginning of the second half, we were better and got to 2-0 with a good goal. But again we dropped back instead of going at them.

"We took three points but we have to learn from this and get up to another level on Thursday.

"It's more about mentality. When we go 2-0 up, we have to attack them and go for three and four."
