Former Manchester United manager David Moyes says he thoroughly enjoyed his first game in Spanish football, after watching his new side Real Sociedad draw 0-0 with Deportivo La Coruna.

The Basque outfit started well at the Riazor, but faded in the second half and could find no way to break through a stubborn Deportivo defence.

Moyes, while insisting he enjoyed the experience, was unhappy with the result.

"I wanted to win and I'm not happy with the draw because we worked hard, but at the end we can say that's a fair point. It was a good first half – we were far superior", Moyes was quoted as saying by ITV.

"I was disappointed with the second half, we started the second half slowly.
