Tottenham Hotspur match-winner Christian Eriksen is delighted after his side's 2-1 win over Hull City today and exclaimed he will sleep well tonight.

Hull quickly took the lead at the KC Stadium through former Tottenham midfielder Jake Livermore, who scored in just the eighth minute.

Livermore did not celebrate, as a sign of respect for his former side.

Hull though saw Gaston Ramirez sent off in the 50th minute, which propelled Tottenham back into the game.

And goals from Harry Kane (61st minute), getting on the end of a parried save from an Eriksen free-kick, and then Eriksen himself (90th minute), put Spurs 2-1 up and secured all three points for Mauricio Pochettino's men.

And the Dane, who was a key man in the second half, was overjoyed with the win post match.

"I think definitely, especially second half, we played well, so that will give us a lot of confidence for the next games", he told Sky Sports.

"I think in the first half we started slow. They were quick and more aggressive than we were.

"From the start of the second half we played forward and attacking, and of course, it helped us with the red card.

"[I enjoyed the goal] a lot. I'm going to sleep pretty well tonight."
