Heerenveen midfielder Daley Sinkgraven admits he is hugely flattered by the number of clubs being linked with him.

The Netherlands Under-21 international was chased by Ajax and PSV Eindhoven over the summer, however the pair opted to allow him another year's development at Heerenveen, rather than lodging concrete bids.

But with Manchester United now also on Sinkgraven's tail, the chase is hotting up.

The 19-year-old has heard the chatter surrounding him, but is waiting to see which clubs firm up their interest.

"It is a compliment that there are so many clubs interested in me", Sinkgraven was quoted as saying by Voetbal Primeur.

"Whether it is all true, we will have to wait and see."

Sinkgraven had been hoping to impress Ajax yesterday when Heerenveen visited the Amsterdam ArenA for an Eredivisie clash.

Heerenveen took the lead, but then saw a player sent off, while Sinkgraven scored an own goal as Ajax ran out 4-1 winners.
