Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen admits he is happy that Arsenal and Liverpool both lost this weekend.

Eriksen scored Tottenham's winner in a 2-1 victory away at Hull City today, pushing them up to tenth spot in the Premier League and just two points off the top four.

Spurs are now level on points with Arsenal, while they are three points ahead of Liverpool.

Both Arsenal and Liverpool finished in the top four last term, but the pair lost this weekend, the Gunners to Manchester United and the Reds to Crystal Palace, to continue their lacklustre starts.

And Eriksen, asked whether the duo losing means this was a good weekend for Spurs, admitted he was happy to see them go down to defeat.
