Wesley Sneijder's agent admits he will seek urgent talks with Galatasaray's board following his client being left on the bench against Trabzonspor.

Despite being regarded as the club's star player, Sneijder was first benched by coach Cesare Prandelli for a Super Lig clash against Kasimpasa last month, something which sparked fury from the Netherlands midfielder.

It has been alleged that Sneijder refused to postpone payment of his salary until next year and was dropped as a result; the midfielder has already suffered late salary payment this season, leading to his agent even threatening to take the matter to FIFA to have his contract ripped up.

He was again on the bench for Saturday's 3-0 home defeat to Trabzonspor and agent Guido Albers will seek urgent talks with Galatasaray, with a warning his client will not put up with being dropped.

"I do not know why he was sitting on the bench", Albers said on Bugun TV.

"We'll have talks with the board on Wednesday in Brussels", he added, with Galatasaray due to play Anderlecht in the Champions League.

"We're going to speak about Wesley and we'll discuss this important event.

"I really do not know why he did not start in the team."

Indeed, Albers suggests Sneijder could be on the move if his situation does not change; the midfielder has consistently been linked with Manchester United.

"Sneijder wants to stay, but he continues to sit on the bench. Nobody wants to sit on the bench.

"This is Prandelli's decision. Sneijder can't do anything.

"Is this going to happen every week? That will be the big question on Wednesday. What are your plans?"

Galatasaray are keen on extending Sneijder's contract from its current end in 2016, but Albers can see little reason for that to happen if more playing time is not guaranteed.

"We're going to talk about it, but if they say no, then we will say that Sneijder will serve out his contract.

"But if they put him on the bench, what can we do? He was already on the bench a month ago."

And if the time does come for Sneijder to leave, Albers has an idea as to the fee any interested party will have to pay.

"Perhaps it would be feasible for €25m", he explained.
