Former Juventus midfielder Pavel Nedved believes that the club have grown in strength under new manager Massimiliano Allegri.

Allegri took over at the Bianconeri from Antonio Conte this summer after the latter left the club and later became the national team manager of Italy.

The side that have won three back-to-back league titles are currently leading Serie A on 31 points and also have a chance of qualifying for the last 16 of the Champions League.

Allegri’s Juventus have dropped only five points in their first 12 league fixtures and Nedved feels that the new manager has improved upon Conte’s work in Turin.

The former Czech midfielder believes Allegri has adopted a style of play at Juventus that can not only be successful in Italy, but will also allow the Bianconeri to take giants strides in Europe.

“The work of Allegri has been a natural progression from Conte’s but there is a change in attitude and the tactical evolution is more intelligent”, Nedved told Tuttosport.

“Juve is becoming stronger and the style of play will allow the club to grow not only in Italy, but also in Europe.”

Juventus registered a comfortable 3-0 win over Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on Saturday.
