Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen insists that he is enjoying the higher level of expectation that has been built around him this season.

The Danish international has been in a good run of form this season, having scored four goals in 14 matches in all competitions.

However, the 22-year-old believes that with fame comes responsibility which he needs to handle, while improving continuously.

Eriksen further insists that there will always be possibilities to create chances and score goals, as he did against Hull City on Sunday.

“Expectations are higher, everyone knows me now and it’s different this season", Eriksen told his club's official site.

“But I still see the possibilities and see the spaces available on the pitch. There will always be some chances and luckily, I scored at Hull.

"Hopefully I’ll keep getting the chances and I’ll try to take them when they come along. It’s always good to score goals and to help the team."

The Lilywhites take on Serbian outfit Partizan Belgrade in a Europa League encounter on Thursday.
