Celtic assistant manager John Collins is expecting a test his side are unused to in Scotland when they take on Red Bull Salzburg on Thursday.

The Bhoys know that victory would qualify them for the knockout stage of the Europa League, but are also very aware of the threat posed by the Austrians.

The prior group meeting between the two sides in Austria resulted in an entertaining 2-2 draw and Collins is steeled for another tough test for the Bhoys.

"A very good team", was Collins' appraisal of Salzburg at a press conference today. "I watched them again last night. High tempo football, love to press.

"Possibly one of the best, if not the best, pressing team in Europe. They don't give you a second on the ball and always look to play forward.

"It will be a new challenge for us, something we don't get in Scotland as most teams sit off us."

And Collins wants Celtic's qualification to the knockout stage done and dusted on Thursday to avoid a potentially tricky final trip to Dinamo Zagreb.

"We would love to qualify on Thursday night.

"We wouldn't want to go down to the last game, so the target is to win the game."
