Dinamo Zagreb director Zdravko Mamic has insisted that he will only accept an ‘irresistible’ offer for Arsenal target Marcelo Brozovic.

The 22-year-old midfielder is a highly-rated talent in Croatian football and scouts from some of the top European clubs have been raving about his performances for some time.

He is a regular for his club side and has scored two goals and provided five assists in 22 appearances for the Croatian outfit in all competitions this season.

Arsenal are long-term admirers of the Croat and have been tracking his progress. Arsene Wenger is thought to be pondering over a move for him this January or next summer.

But the Dinamo Zagreb director is not willing to lose his prized possession for less than top dollar and is ready to provide a tough fight to Brozovic’s suitors.

He confirmed that the club have received proposals for the midfielder, but stressed only an ‘irresistible’ offer will force him to sanction the 22-year-old’s sale.

“We have received offers”, Mamic told Sportski.

“If someone wants to take one of our players they need to put forward an irresistible offer.

“And the figures that I read in the media are not interesting enough for us.”
