Kevin Nolan has stressed that West Ham again need to go on a winning run to get their season back on track.

After a brilliant start to the campaign, Sam Allardyce’s side’s form has tapered in the last few weeks.

Since their win over Manchester City last month, the Hammers have failed to register another victory and have collected only two points from a possible nine.

They are currently sixth in the Premier League table on 18 points and Nolan admits that they need to get back to winning ways as soon as possible.

Though he believes that the Hammers deserved more from their last three fixtures, he said that they need to put on another winning run to get their season back on track.

"Hopefully we'll start picking up wins again and go on another little run”, Nolan told the club’s official site.

"We need to start another unbeaten run. It's two draws and a loss in the last three games and we got a point at Stoke, should have got three against Villa, and should have got at least a point at Everton.

"That's three points dropped in the last three weeks, so we're disappointed but we'll put that behind us."

West Ham will host an in-form Newcastle United, who are currently on a five-game winning run, on Saturday at Upton Park.
