Manchester United assistant manager Ryan Giggs is of the opinion that Chelsea are “head and shoulders above” their Premier League rivals.

The Blues, who defeated West Bromwich Albion 2-0 at the weekend, are currently six points clear at the top of the standings with 32 points from 12 games.

Jose Mourinho’s side are yet to lose a competitive fixture this season and have conceded just 11 goals in the Premier League, the second-lowest in the division behind Southampton’s tally of six.

And Giggs, whose side are presently three places and 13 points adrift of Chelsea, admitted that the Stamford Bridge outfit are by far the best team in the Premier League, owing to their consistency.

"Their back four has not changed and they have consistency in their team", Giggs told the BBC.
