Spain coach Vicente del Bosque has advised Jose Mourinho to restrict his comments to what goes on at Chelsea.

Mourinho has been public this season in his disapproval of Spain calling up and playing striker Diego Costa, when in the Portuguese's opinion the hitman was less than fit to play.

Matters appeared to have improved recently when Del Bosque left Costa out of his Spain squad for the last international break, seemingly in response to Mourinho's complaints.

And now Del Bosque has advised Mourinho to keep his comments to Chelsea matters in future.

"We have to appreciate that he is a great coach", the Spain boss was quoted as saying by A Bola.
