Paris Saint-Germain full-back Maxwell’s agent Mino Raiola has confirmed that talks are under way regarding his client’s contract extension at the club.

The Brazilian, whose present contract with PSG expires in the summer, joined the club from Barcelona in 2012.

Maxwell has thus far amassed 111 appearances in all competitions for the French outfit, scoring seven times.

And Raiola revealed that apart from Maxwell, PSG are also interested in extending fellow full-back Gregory van der Wiel’s contract, which runs until 2016.

"We are discussing a contract extension for him and Van der Wiel”, he told French outlet L'Equipe.

Raiola further added that he is hopeful about Zlatan Ibrahimovic extending his stay at the Parc des Princes as the Sweden international is excited by the project at PSG.

“For Ibra? We'll see, with Ibra anything is possible, he feels good in Paris”, he continued.

“For him it is the most exciting project.”

Ibrahimovic’s present deal with PSG is set to expire in the summer of 2016.
