Arsenal custodian Wojciech Szczesny insists that his team can ensure Champions League qualification by winning tonight's match against Borussia Dortmund.

The Gunners need one point from the two remaining matches to go through to the last 16 stage of the tournament.

Szczesny though doesn't want to wait until the next match against Galatasaray in order to ensure qualification, in spite of conceding that winning against Dortmund won't be easy.

“Dortmund are a very good counter-attacking team. They press your midfielders very well and are quick to attack as soon as they get possession", the Polish international told his club's official site.

"They’ve got some great finishers as well, so going forward they are very strong.

“We know that we only need one point from our last two matches to qualify for the last 16, but we know that we have not made it yet.

"We’re playing at home in front of our fans and we’re confident that we can put in a good performance and qualify."

The Gunners were able to secure only a draw against Belgian outfit Anderlecht in their last Champions League match on 4th November, a fact that the 24-year-old believes was disappointing.

"We all know that our last match in the Champions League at home to Anderlecht was disappointing."

However, he insists on putting the disappointment behind them and looking for a win against Dortmund tonight.

“But we must put that behind us and we’re all ready to bounce back against Dortmund and hopefully get a place in the last 16."
