Arsene Wenger admits that Arsenal have "a problem" on the injury front after they lost two more players this evening.

Wenger's men were in good form to secure a 2-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund at the Emirates Stadium, in the process booking a spot in the last 16 of the Champions League.

However, the win came at a price as Mikel Arteta was lost to a calf injury and Yaya Sanogo, who scored Arsenal's opener, picked up a hamstring complaint.

Wenger admits the situation is not good for the Gunners.

"The injury situation is a problem because we have many games and we lost two players tonight", he said via his club's site.

"The first one is Mikel Arteta who has another calf problem and that looks quite serious.

"We also lost Yaya Sanogo to a hamstring problem."

Wenger is also playing the waiting game over Jack Wilshere, who was injured in the side's 2-1 defeat to Manchester United at the weekend.

"Wilshere sees a specialist tomorrow. We’ll know more tomorrow night", he said.
