Massimiliano Allegri admits that Juventus have not been at their best in this season’s Champions League despite their win over Malmo last night.

Two second half goals from Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez helped Juventus to register their first away victory in the competition this term over the Swedish outfit.

A point against Atletico Madrid at home a fortnight later will seal the Bianconeri’s berth in the last 16 of the Champions League.

But the Juventus manager is not too happy with his side’s performance in the competition so far this season.

Allegri stressed that Juventus should have been in a better position after five group games, but said that they will be looking to win their last match against the Spanish champions to qualify as group winners.

“There are no easy games, and this was not an easy victory”, Allegri told UEFA.

“We haven't played at our very best in this competition, and we have lost two games however, we have nine points. Maybe it could be more, but it is still nine points.

“We will try and win the last game to be able to win the group. That is our objective.”
