Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has provided a squad fitness update ahead of his side's match against West Brom this weekend.

The Gunners will be without Jack Wilshere, who underwent surgery on an ankle injury yesterday and is out for three months.

Wenger told a press conference: "We knew he would have surgery. He is focused to come back and finish the season well."

Arsenal may also be without goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, while Mikel Arteta misses out and Yaya Sanogo is a doubt.

"Szczesny hasn't trained", Wenger explained.
