Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Kevin Kampl has hailed the Celtic fans after their win in Glasgow last night.

The Austrians registered a 3-1 win over the Bhoys at Celtic Park and sealed their place in the last 32 of the Europa League as winners of Group D.

A brace for Brazilian forward Alan and another late strike from Naby Keita helped Salzburg to overcome a Celtic side that were in good form going into this game.

Though Kampl is delighted with the win, he reserved special praise for the raucous home support at Celtic Park and said that it was a different experience for Salzburg to play in front of such a lively crowd.

“It was unbelievable to play in this stadium in front of these fans”, Kampl told UEFA.
