Inter coach Roberto Mancini admits he is not surprised the club's young midfielder Mateo Kovacic is a wanted man.

The highly-rated Croatia international, who further burnished his reputation at the World Cup, has attracted interest from a number of clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester United and Real Madrid.

Inter look to be in a fight to keep the 20-year-old and Mancini is not surprised, rating Kovacic as a special talent.

However, the former Manchester City boss has urged the Croatian to stay put and become a difference-maker at Inter.

"It is not surprising that he should receive offers, that happens to all good players", Mancini told reporters at Appiano Gentile.
