Tottenham Hotspur youngster Harry Winks has described his senior debut for the club against Partizan Belgrade as a "dream come true."

The 18-year-old came on as a substitute for Paulinho in the 87th minute of their Europa League match, which his team won 1-0 at White Hart Lane.

Winks thus became the seventh academy product to feature for Mauricio Pochettino's team this year, along with the likes of Nabil Bentaleb, Harry Kane and Ryan Mason.

Describing his experience of playing alongside the senior players, Winks added that five minutes or 50 minutes, it simply didn't matter. All that mattered was a Tottenham debut.

“It’s a dream to play for Spurs – five minutes or 50 minutes I didn’t mind, as long as I got on”, Winks told his club's official site.

“It was brilliant. I wasn’t thinking of anything, just to go out there and enjoy it.

“Nothing was crossing my mind, I wasn’t nervous or scared, I just wanted to go out there and play.

“It felt natural and I loved every minute of it. It means everything. We work so hard and to get the opportunity is massive for us.

“It’s a dream come true to go out there and play, especially for the team you support.”
