Liverpool will be without Mario Balotelli for tomorrow's Premier League clash against Stoke City at Anfield.

The Italian, who picked up a groin injury while on international duty, was absent for the Reds' 2-2 draw away at Ludogorets Razgrad on Wednesday, while he also missed last weekend's defeat at Crystal Palace.

And Balotelli will again be absent when Liverpool host the Potters, boss Brendan Rodgers has confirmed.

Asked whether Balotelli is fit to return at a press conference today, Rodgers replied: "No, not yet."

And Liverpool will have the same group as for Wednesday's Champions League game in Bulgaria.

"We'll have the same squad as the other night", he said.

Liverpool will be looking to pick up all three points against Stoke, having suffered six defeats in their opening 12 Premier League games so far to sit just 12th in the standings.

However, the Reds are still just five points off the top four.
