Toulouse goalkeeper Ali Ahamada is not willing to sign a new deal, with Benfica and Tottenham Hotspur looming large on the horizon.

The former French Under-21 international’s contract is set to expire next summer and he is reluctant to put pen to paper on a new deal.

He joined Toulouse in the summer of 2009 and his performances for the French outfit have attracted interest from clubs across Europe.

After 113 appearances for the club, the 23-year-old is now willing to evaluate his options and is keen to make a move in January, according to O Jogo.

Tottenham have been tracking Ahamada’s progress for some time now and believe that he can keep Hugo Lloris on his toes at White Hart Lane with the acquisition of the 23-year-old.

But they will face stiff competition from Benfica, who are looking to sign a young promising goalkeeper in January to compensate for the loss of Jan Oblak, who joined Atletico Madrid this summer.

It all points to a January exit for Ahamada unless Toulouse decide to take their chances with him until the end of the season and risk losing him for free.
